Solomons, MD
I haven’t lived in Maryland for long. Not even a year actually. My permanent residence in USA started in New Jersey. Then I moved to “downstate” New York for about four years. Then came time for Philadelphia, where during my last year in the city I started my adventure with drones and created Fly like an Eagle. In the middle of 2015 myself and my wonderful girlfriend Blonnie moved to MD. Prior to that I knew the state from visiting the city of Baltimore where we have photographed numerous weddings. I had no idea Maryland was this beautiful and had so much to offer. The aerial photography project has opened my eyes to many places that can easily compete with other States in US famous for their gorgeous landscapes. Solomons is certainly one of those places. We went over the Thomas Johnson bridge on our way back to North East from Point Lookout and I just couldn’t resist. I got the Phantom 4 in the air and captured the above images. The time of the day was far from ideal but the rich clouds in the sky compensated for less than optimal position of the sun. I am sure we’ll revisit this area in the future for more aerial images and views of the marina. Till then!
