Northampton Valley Country Club

Northampton Valley Country Club

This was an amazing turn of events after the entire week of really depressing weather. It seems that the entire East Coast of US has been hiding under a thick cloud cover. There just was no sun. None of it. There was daylight but not a single ray of sun. For a week. Most of those days it was also raining pretty bad! No wonder that our bride was concerned. Of course the last thing you want on your wedding day is rain – especially if you planned your reception at a place with a picturesque beautiful outdoor space. The day did start with rain and clouds again and we were preparing for the all indoor photos scenario. As the day went on the clouds were slowly dissipating and the day was becoming brighter but there were still some dark clouds on the horizon and for a moment it looked like rain again. Eventually in the evening the sun finally found its way through and we were gifted with this amazing sunset over the club. The shot was taken right after the bride and groom’s session with the late afternoon sun. I auto bracketed (5 shots each) a sequence of 6 images (for a total of 30) to later stitch this panorama out of the resulting HDR photos in Lightroom. For a detailed description of my workflow please take a look at the Guide to Stunning Aerial Images.

Equipment used to create this panorama: Phantom 4 drone + SanDisk EXTREME PRO 64GB
