Following my Dear Girlfriend Blonnie‘s suggestion this morning I headed over to a place called the Thousand Acre Farm, located near Delaware City, DE. It is a wedding venue, where Blonnie had worked before. After my own 13 year long career in wedding photography, most of it in northern Jersey you learn to appreciate places that are located in a unique area like this one. The bridge in the background, the vast open area surrounding the place, immediate access to amazing sunset in the middle of your reception and most of all the rustic feeling that has been so overwhelmingly popular among brides for the past few wedding seasons and it’s most definitely going strong in 2016. Thousand Acres Farm is already a popular choice among young couples and it’s likely to become even more wanted… so if you are engaged and looking for a place to celebrate your “I do’s” go ahead and give them a call!
