Planning my morning trips to the locations I always try to make sure I arrive right before the sunrise but sometimes things don’t work out exactly as planned. On my way to Dealaware City this morning I could see the sun rising from the car as I was headed directly East:

I was feeling so anxious to get to the point where I wanted to take the planned photo thinking that maybe I am already too late. The most attractive and best looking part of the sunrise is happening right now while I am still in the car, on the way! In the end when I arrived to my destination everything worked out, the sun was still low enough to provide nice and warm illumination of Delaware City (as pictured in the main photo of this post). Had it been 15 minutes later I would have probably waited till a different day. After sunrise you only have about 30-45 minutes of the really good light. Then it starts looking too much like middle of the day. Hope you enjoy these images!
