Back to Wilmington, DE

It’s hard to keep getting up so early in the morning… mainly because all my life I never really was a morning person! When I was in high school I played lots of computer games, when I was in college I would have online discussions about the very sense of existence and the outer limits of the Universe with people in USA (I lived in Poland for the first 26 years of my life). When I started doing wedding photography I would edit images and participate in online discussions about photography till 5m… and then of course there was no getting up until noon. I thought this was unlikely to ever change. You know what made me get up early? Drones. It’s no joke. To complete my Fly Like an Eagle project I had to be up early every day or I would miss the best time to shoot. I was quite surprised with myself and my ability to keep going but my determination was stronger than the un-ability to get up before sunrise. The good thing is experiencing sunrise really IS very rewarding. The world looks different when the sun is just above the horizon. It looks more appealing and beautiful in every possible way. Take a look at the city of Wilmington in my previous post and take another look at the image above. What a difference! I think I’m gonna keep getting up at the hours when I used to go to sleep… !

The sunrise photo above is a stitch of 6 single images recorder with Phantom 4. The panorama was merged and processed in Lightroom. For the full and detailed description of my workflow please have a look at the Guide to Stunning Aerial Imagery posted on this website.

As always remember to stay SAFE, do not endanger wildlife and other human beings when using your UAV. Fly responsibly and happy sunrises!
